When something bad happens, you have three choices: let it define you, let it destroy you, or let it strengthen you.

Some pictures, just to break the page

Or, nothing. Just stole a couple of pictures and still waiting on more from George Velasco.

This one is from Tom Riley's collection.

Rick Gaston was too busy to take more, even at the pace we were moving:)

I keep forgeting to tell the story, how at RDL when we were going from turn-around at mile 83 and saw many runners coming towards us, one runner and her pacer stopped ahead of us. The girl (runner) was puking her guts out. Rick didn't see it, and been a nice guy he is, walked over to her, bent down and asked: "Can I help you find something?" Like yeah, my dinner:) She was a good sport though.

Memories...all that's left. My blisters do not bother me, but my shins still do - a lot, and suddenly my hamstring feels exactly the same as it was on a second/third week after the injury. What gives? I am taking yoga class twice a week though, after a whole year break, and no, I am not pushing myself to "show off" :) I can be quiet when I need to be. It feels nice to be quiet right now too.
