A couple of short announcements.
First of all, I'd like to draw your attention to a couple of new websites I came across and think they could be beneficial for some of us.
The UltraMarathon Store is similar to some extend to Run100s, but with some new perks. Check it out and see if you like it.
Trailfactor is organized by a new-comer to Portland Shawn Bostad, and it's a local sorce for group runs.
I am guessing everyone here (in Portland, OR) knows about Purge and Splurge run on December 31st. After all, it was my first run once I moved here, and the favorite too (you know, from the motto: how you start, you'll live the whole year same way, well, I lived all my years here on a high note I ran that first Purge run). So, I have a web-blog going, read all the explanations "why" and "what for" HERE.
And last, but not least - Merry Christmas, Happy Hanuka, and for all regardless of religion (or not) - have an awesome New Year!!!

yes the p&s sit is very good. you were right, alan and kyly started it but so did ellie. they all three did 15 years ago. what a great way to end the year. see you there. happy holidays.
