If you're lucky enough to be in the mountains, you are lucky enough.

When something bad happens, you have three choices: let it define you, let it destroy you, or let it strengthen you.

Just a glimpse.

The order is opposite, but it doesn't really matter. Hardrock Camp is the best place on Earth. You're missing out on life if not planning on been here one day, if only to see it happening. I am off to have crazy fun!!!

What an awesome place! And, race atmosphere! Keep Mike in line and don't let him leave Ouray before 7pm. ;) Be safe and have a blast!!!

I agree it is so amazing there. I can't wait to go back.

Thanks for posting the pictures. Tell BW to kick some butt and we are all cheering for him via our computers back her at home!

Awesome...in more ways than one! : )

You should get the crew/pacer extraordinaire award! Not only did you crew BW, but many others, as well, while you were waiting at aid stations. Then, you pace BW from Grouse for 14+ hours to a PR finish??? Simply amazing! Never rested from the beginning of the race until way past the finish. Time for you to get some much needed rest. You deserve it! :)

Nice pics! So...did you see the trail of fire from Kyle Skaggs as he blew off the first ever sub-24 there? :-)

It was nice seeing you out there!
Good job pacing. Mike is a stud!

The HR100 course is beyond imagination. I've seen it all and it doesn't seem to sink all the way in - it's so unreal. The miles remind me of dog-years. They say 1 human year equals 15 dog years. So talk about HR miles...

I have to do this race. Leadville is a piece of cake compared to this.
Most beautiful course in the US.
