Still sick

Since I am still sick and not thinking clearly, I figured I'd share two of my running stories from before to satisfy an interest of what is it all about to go 100M. Warning - despite how strong I may come up as in Rob's description or my blabbering, I am a cry-baby:) Every 100 (I finished 6) when something happens - and something always happen, it's a long way to go - I burst into tears. It doesn't influence much the performance itself, in fact I beleive it makes me move forward more determined, like I get upset with myself for been so emotional, but it is interesting to look back and wonder why I did it. My son would call me "emo", what at his high school stands for "emotionally unstable".
So here it goes:

I belong to this wonderful running in club in the Bronx, NY, where I lived for 11 years (yep, sounds weird for a birth of a trail runner), and back in a days they welcomed me in, embraced in their friendship and let me know I am a runner. That was an unforgettable experience and I will never forget it.

Great stories. So inspiring - I love becoming an ultra runner, and knowing I will have epic experiences like these in the future! (now if only I can get in enough shape to actually finish close to the front...)
